Cheese pie is one of my favorite foods. But, although it is easy to make and requires little hands-on time, sometimes I can’t even spare that.

Although I prefer to eat it warm out of the oven, this pie can be an excellent addition to any lunch box. It travels and reheats well.
It might not look like much but in my house, it is a crowd-pleaser! Feel free to use it as a base to create your own versions to fit your tastes. One Bowl Cheese Pie
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup milk or water
- 2-3 Tablespoons oil or melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 100 gr 3.5oz ricotta cheese
- 2 eggs
- Salt and white pepper
- In a medium bowl whisk flour and baking powder. Then add the oil and milk. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs. Add them to the flour mixture. Using a spatula or a wooden spoon stir everything together until you have a batter. Crumble the cheese and stir to combine. Oil or butter a round 26mm (10inch) baking dish and bake at 200C (470K) for 30 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
