Tonight is a great night! Because I am declaring it MOVIE night!
I know most of you are used to having a family movie night on a Friday, but in our house, we do things a little differently.
Let me explain what I mean
Having a set schedule creates more problems than it solves. We often found ourselves falling behind and trying to catch up on activities with winning kids running around us. Not very fun for anyone involved.
So we only have set routines for things that we find are beneficial for our family like bedtime routine, dinner time etc. In addition, we make an effort to keep them as UN-complicated as possible.
As with meal planning, they are serving us and not the other way around.
Back to tonight
We have both family movie night and parents movie night.
What do these two have in common?
We all crawl under a blanket and we eat popcorn!
That is stovetop popcorn…
If you haven’t ever tried fresh popcorn straight out of the pot you are seriously missing out on life. But be careful because it’s HOT!
I can’t stress enough how utterly delicious it is! Warm, crunchy and chewy at the same time with a smell that will make you actually salivate!
And no. There is no comparison between fresh, hot popcorn with the staff that comes out the bag. Either it is pre-cooked or microwaved.
Call me opinionated but I stand behind this one.
The best part is that it is VERY easy and quick to make.
So take my word for it and make a batch right now. You will only need three ingredients.
You can thank me later!
Enjoy.
