We are a book loving family. Any day of the week you will find us with a book in our hands.⁠
I might not play a lot with my little ones but what I can't say no to is read to them.⁠
This book has unparalleled illustrations and a lovely story.⁠
Highly recommend.

So many times I put myself down because my kids wo

So many times I put myself down because my kids won't eat. Lately I got so frustrated about empty tummies and big attitudes that I almost through in the towel.⁠
Debating back and forth about how to approach meal times in the future, I went back to the basics.⁠
I decide when and what they eat. They decide if and how much.⁠
So now, I serve meals in a platter, soround it with 3-4 side dishes (think cheese, olives, bread, muffins) and I leave it up to them to put food on their plate. I only help if they vocally ask me to.⁠
I highly encourage you to try it. Sometimes it gets MESSY and sometimes their plate stays sparkling clean. ⁠
BUT⁠
You will be amazed by their ability and determination to use the serving spoon, the spark in their eye when they realize what they accomplished and the pure joy and pride in their eyes when you applaud them.
